We Serve Our Local Community Generously

We want to be the hands, feet and heart of Jesus for our community, in ways that are simple yet creative, big and small! We are passionate about finding ways to be a blessing to our local school community. We send volunteers into the ELG schools weekly to help in classrooms, cafeterias and the playground. We also find other ways to bless students and staff throughout the year!

"Covered" in Prayer

As we hear of people in our community walking through hard things, we give them a blanket and let them know we are covering them in prayer. The blankets are made by people of all ages after our Sunday Gatherings.

Spring Day of Serving

At one of our Sunday Gatherings each Spring, we serve our ELG School community in a variety of ways, completing various projects for the ELG Schools.

In August we invite middle schoolers to spend two days creating cool projects themed after the creation account in Genesis 1. We have a great time working with wood, fabric, cardboard and more! We are inspired as we hear about how God created the world and how much He loves His creation.

We seek to be a blessing to our public school community in many different ways, like providing staff lunch, exam goody bags, and gifts at Christmas.
